Bruno Groening told us to meet together every three weeks. He said that by ourselves we are too weak to have the strength to live our lives connected to the good... as the divine beings that we are. Please come and receive the healing stream with us, to recharge your body battery, your mind and your spirit. We will have a community hour, and if new friends attend, we will have an introduction before the community hour. This is the last time we will bring the donation book table items. Reiki is an ancient method of hands-on healing that has been used in modern world for about 100 years. This easy-to-learn and easy-to-use modality is gentle and non-invasive. Our improv comedy classes are not just for actors or comedians, but are specifically designed to re-connect participants with their sense of play. With all the responsiblities of being an adult, we have sadly learned to supress the joy of play and laughter that comes naturally to any child. In improv, we are encouraged and awarded for playing, exploring possibilities and for breaking the rules. Our classses are a laid back environement where structured play is introduced, and the philosophies of free expression are taught. 17 year Chicago comedy veteran and life coach, Keli Semelsberger guides students by reminding them you can not fail in improv, you can only explore possiblities and allow things to develop organically. Improv focuses on team work, scene work, character development, storytelling, and most importantly, living in the moment. Our exercises are fun, high energy and inspiring with no judgement. Our students come to us with no experience and all we ask is an open mind, open heart and the willingness to laugh out loud. What you learn in class reflects directly to what you are working on in your day to day life, with a new and lighter perspective. Laughter does heal!
